basicDIM Wireless UI EnOcean (EWSSB, EWSDB) are wireless switches with energy generation in the European 55 x 55 mm form factor. EWSSB and EWSDB transmit the button state based on the 2.4-GHz Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless standard. The user interface contains an electrodynamic energy converter that is actuated by the movement of the rocker (battery-free). Whenever a rocker is pressed or released, electrical energy is generated and a series of BLE advertising frames is transmitted that transmits the state of the rocker (pressed or released). A "long" or "short" button press (the time between pressing and releasing the rocker) can be calculated by the receiver and enables the control of switching and dimming operations.
