The Theben PIRA T8 DE passive infrared motion detector is also available in a 2-channel version with 1 channel light and 1 channel presence for HVAC applications. Up to 200 W LED switching capacity is possible, which is low-wear for relays and illuminants thanks to the integrated zero-crossing circuit. The detector is ready for operation from the factory, whereby both parameters can still be aligned to the application via potentiometers. The brightness can be adjusted within a range of 5 - 1000 lx and the light follow-up time between 5 s and 15 min. Thanks to permanent light measurement, the PIRA T-Series automatically switches off the light as soon as sufficient natural light is available, even if someone is still operating in the detection area.
