Adafruit MiCS5524 CO, Alcohol and VOC Gas Sensor Breakout

Enhance your sensor projects with the Adafruit MiCS-5524 Gas Sensor Breakout, designed for robust detection of carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks. Ideal for indoor air quality monitoring, breath checks, and early fire detection.This MEMS sensor detects CO (1-1000 ppm), Ammonia (1-500 ppm), Ethanol (10-500 ppm), H2 (1-1000 ppm), and Methane/Propane/Iso-Butane (1000+ ppm). While it cannot specify which gas is detected, the output is proportional to the gas concentration.Power the sensor with 5 VDC; the analog voltage output increases when gases are detected. The heater draws 25-35mA and can be switched off using the EN pin for energy conservation. A short warm-up is required before readings.Each unit includes an assembled and tested MiCS-5524 breakout, plus header for optional soldering or wiring. Calibration is necessary for precise readings.
