AD5242BRZ10 Digital potentiometer, 10 kOhm, I2C, RAM, SOIC-16

The AD5241/AD52421 offer a single/dual channel with 256 positions. They fulfil the same electronic setting function as a potentiometer, trimmer or variable resistor. Each VR offers a fully programmable resistance value between the A terminal and the wiper or the B terminal and the wiper. For the AD5242, the fixed A-to-B connection resistance of 10 kOhm, 100 kOhm or 1 MOhm is a matching tolerance of 1% from channel to channel. The nominal temperature coefficient of both components is 30 ppm/°C. The wiper position programming is set to the middle scale by default when the system is switched on. When the system is powered on, the VR wiper position is programmed via an I2C-compatible, 2-wire serial data interface. Both components have two additional programmable logic outputs that allow the user to control digital loads, logic gates, LED drivers and analogue switches in their system.
