The RSBS is a single-phase soft starter for single-phase compressors with up to 32 amperes. It can limit the inrush current to 45 AACrms (under balanced conditions) and offers a maximum startup time of 600 ms. Thanks to a special function (HD function), the RSBS can start compressors even with unbalanced pressure by allowing a maximum current of 80 AACrms. After startup, the semiconductors are bypassed by the integrated electromechanical relay. The RSBS is designed for a maximum of 10 startup operations per hour (evenly distributed).
