WLAN Mesh for every connection scenario The FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX included in the FRITZ!Mesh Set 1600 can be easily integrated into the home network at the touch of a button. Regardless of whether a FRITZ!Box, a router from another manufacturer or a fiber optic modem (ONT) is connected: Users benefit from all FRITZ! functions. With routers from other manufacturers and fiber optic modems (ONT), the first FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX is connected via LAN cable and acts as a mesh center. In combination with a FRITZ! box, the connection is established wirelessly at the touch of a button.

Simple setup via the smart MyFRITZ! app The FRITZ!Mesh Set is easy to set up via smartphone using the MyFRITZ!App. The app connects the smartphone to the FRITZ!Repeater via Wi-Fi (using a QR code), automatically registers it and guides you through the setup process. The app then provides an overview of the mesh and connected home network devices as well as other convenient functions. The LAN connection enables the integration of additional network devices, and repeaters can also be connected to each other via LAN.
