MCX A17 Essential MCU Arm® Cortex®-M33 with 180 MHz and Rich Serial Peripherals, 32 QFN

The MCX A17 devices are scalable microcontrollers in the MCX A Series designed for high-performance motor control and connected embedded control. Designed to accelerate development of brushless direct current (BLDC) and permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drives, motion control and robotics, MCX A17 integrates a 180 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core, dual FlexPWM modules, up to two 16-bit ADCs and SmartDMA to support responsive real-time control and efficient data handling. I3C, CAN FD, USB and FlexIO provide interface flexibility, while scalable memory options help developers align performance, connectivity and integration needs. The MCUXpresso Developer Experience provides software tools, application examples and expansion resources to support development, including the Expansion Board Hub (EBH) for add-on boards and the Application Code Hub (ACH) for software examples, with evaluation available through the FRDM-MCXA174 and FRDM-MCXA266 development boards to simplify prototyping and feature exploration.
