Radar motion detector module with signal evaluation The motion detector module should meet the majority of requirements for door opening, alarm and safety systems, control of machines, sanitary spaces, plus play and sports equipment. The module is suitable for a wide variety of applications in which movement or presence is registered and switching processes have to be triggered. In contrast to passive infrared motion detectors, which only register objects with a temperature difference to the background, radar motion detectors respond to all movements towards the sensor. This leads to extremely high motion sensitivity, even the slightest movements almost to a standstill can be detected, making the modules ideal for presence detectors too. The sensitivity can be adjusted within wide limits using a potentiometer. The module can be adapted to the application in question.
