The PCB-mounted platinum temperature sensor is specifically designed for use in calorimetry. When designing these sensors, the stringent requirements of this sector regarding precision, long-term stability, cost minimisation and fully automatic further processing options were of prime concern. The measurement-active element is an SMD-model temperature sensor mounted on a PCB. The chip is connected to the terminal surfaces by thin conductive tracks to reduce heat dissipation and prevent distortion of the measurement result. When assembled as a cable sensor, it is suitable for a wide variety of applications within a temperature range of 0°C to 150°C
