The Youth Programmes Starter Kit offers an easy and understandable introduction to the world of programming and is aimed at all people who like to learn in a practical way.

The Starter Kit consists on the one hand of the hardware, with which a real relation to the newly learned programming skills is established, and on the other hand of the well-understood reading. Everything comes together from one house and is therefore exactly coordinated with each other. In the book the functions of the individual hardware components are explained, how they are correctly connected and programmed. The programming language Python 3 is used. In addition to the book, the Youth Programs cheat sheet helps with urgent questions and if the pin assignment of the Raspberry Pi sometimes gives you a headache, there is also the GPIO pin default.

What is the content about? First of all you will learn the basics of Linux and the terminal to get oriented on the Raspberry Pi. After that, it's all about getting the first LEDs to light up and using push buttons to measure the outside world. You will also get to know programming basics such as loops. The topic of sensors will also be covered and you will learn to measure your environment. At the end there is a lesson on how to output the measured data back to a screen.
