An analog touch panel is available as an accessory. It has a self-adhesive back and is glued to the display. The connection is made via a 4-pin flex cable for a ZIF plug with 1.0 mm pitch (accessory: ZIF plug EA WF100-04S). The bending radius should be at least 5 mm. To connect to a processor system, we recommend that you use either an ext. touch panel controller or a controller with analog inputs. The touch panel can then be compared to a potentiometer: If a voltage of e.g. 3.3 V is applied to the Top-Bottom pins, a voltage which is linear to the Y-direction of the contact can be measured at the Left or Right pin. The contact point in the X-direction is obtained by applying the voltage to the left-hand Right and Measure at Top or Bottom.
