BOB3 SMD – A robot for learning how to program!

BOB3 SMD is a fully assembled BOB3 robot designed specifically for students to learn programming. BOB3 has touch sensors as arms, he can send and receive an IR code, he can turn on his white spotlights, make his eyes flash in all different colours, distinguish between near and far and much more! The BOB3 can then be programmed via USB using the ProgBob programming adapter, which is available separately. A web application is available for the programming and provides both an interactive programming interface and a motivating programming course with 8 tutorials and over 100 self-learning units. Users can collect medals, bonus points, experience values and awards during the individual course sections. Depending on the level of knowledge, the number of correctly resolved tasks and the completed courses, the user can be awarded titles such as Basic Coder, Third-Level Coder or ultimately even Master Coder!
