The PCI Express card from Delock adds two external RS-232 high-speed serial ports to the PC. There may be different devices, such as Gateways, plotters, printers, line extenders, dongles or embedded modules, field programmable gate arrays (FPGA), controllers, etc. can be connected to the card. The scope of delivery includes thumbscrews for the individual serial ports, so serial devices can be connected to the ports either with screws or with nuts. With the help of the included Low Profile covers, the PCI Express card can also be installed in a mini-PC.
