Thanks to the new wireless charging function, the Gryphon barcode scanner is charged quickly and easily via induction. This means that it no longer has any charging contacts and is less susceptible. Wireless data transmission also works: The Gryphon GBT4500 has Bluetooth 4.0 with BLE.

The Gryphon scans 1D, 2D and optionally Digimarc barcodes at rapid speed. In this case, the eye-friendly, white background lighting especially supports the reading of low-contrast, colored bar codes. The Gryphon has a very high depth of field, with which it also detects poorly readable or damaged barcodes in no time. In manual mode or in the stand, the Datalogic Motionix motion sensors automatically switch between the scan modes that are currently needed during scanning.

The barcode scanner is particularly robust due to its IP52 certification and its resistance to falls from a height of up to 1.8 m. Its charging/transfer station has a multi-interface with USB, RS-232 and keyboard wedge.
