DW-AS-509-M12 inductive proximity sensor, 0 - 6 mm, normally open contact

Robust and highly reliable, inductive sensors from Contrinex are suitable for non-contact detection of metallic parts at distances of up to 40 mm. The vacuum encapsulated electronics and metal housing protect the sensors against shock, vibration, dust, dirt and moisture. Contrinex sensors are ideal for use in demanding environmental conditions. An inductive sensor generates a high-frequency magnetic field. If a metallic object approaches this field, energy is extracted from it and the output switches.
