The SST39SF010A / 020A / 040 is a CMOS multipurpose flash (MPF) manufactured using SST's proprietary high-performance CMOS SuperFlash technology. The split-gate cell design and the thick oxide tunnel injector provide better reliability and manufacturability compared to alternative approaches. The SST39SF010A / 020A / 040 devices write (program or erase) with a 4.5-5.5V power supply. The SST39SF010A / 020A / 040 devices comply with the JEDEC standard x8 memory pinouts. The SST39SF010A / 020A / 040 devices offer a powerful byte program and a maximum byte program time of 20 µs. These devices use Toggle Bit or Data # Polling to indicate the completion of the programming process. They have built-in hardware and software data protection schemes to protect against accidental writing. Designed, manufactured and tested for a wide range of applications, these devices offer a guaranteed typical life of 100,000 cycles. Data retention is estimated to be more than 100 years.
