In the case of analysis, diagnosis or laboratory equipment in medical technology, mobile measuring equipment, professional audio and video technology or equipment in the food industry, the loss of the power supply can have serious consequences. Particularly with electrical appliances that are moved during operation, there is a risk that the power cable may be unintentionally pulled out of the appliance. Pull-out protections can prevent this.

V-Lock - the safe alternative

With the V-Lock system for IEC appliance plugs and sockets, SCHURTER offers an attractive, reliable alternative. With V-Lock, the socket snaps into the opening provided in the appliance plug with a cam, thus preventing the power cable from being unintentionally pulled out. The advantage of this system is that there is no need to adapt and install any appliance socket-specific bracket systems or retaining clips.

The latch is released again by finger pressure on the release lever. Thanks to its bright yellow colour, the lever is easily recognisable and distinguishes this system from conventional mains plug connections. The pull-out force is at least 200 N. The V-Lock locking system can be integrated in mains plug connections according to IEC 60320 for 10 A and 16 A.
