A resistive condensation sensor in thick film technology reacts to high values of relative humidity (approx. 93 to 99% RH). A second conductivity sensor printed as an interdigital structure on the substrate detects any condensate. The combination of these two methods results in a safe switching behavior, which makes the sensor also suitable for critical applications, for example for chilled ceilings. Together with the universal sensor switching module SENSW-MOD12V, SENSW-MOD24V, SENSW-GEH230V, the B+B condensation sensor provides an optimum condensation circuit breaker. The cable gland located loose on the cable allows the sensor to be connected directly to our level controllers. Applications range from automatic ventilation controls for sanitary rooms, showers or swimming pools, moisture monitors for exterior walls, pipelines or basement rooms, monitoring of cooling ceilings, shop window panes or humidity in control cabinets.
