The DisplayPort 1.4 connection cable from Good Connections® guarantees consistently high signal transmission up to 8K / UHD-2 thanks to the combination of a high-quality cable construction with triple cable shielding and connectors with copper contacts and locking protection (locking).

DisplayPort 1.4 - resolutions up to 8K / UHD-2 at 60Hz and 4K at 240Hz This high-quality DisplayPort cable supports resolutions up to 8K / UHD-2 at 60Hz and 4K at 240Hz (colour sampling 4:2:0 or DSC) with a bandwidth of max. 25.92 Gbps (via HDBR3) and thus meets all requirements of the DisplayPort 1.4 standard. In addition, 32 audio channels are supported at a sample rate / sampling rate of 1,536 kHz. This means that all known audio formats can be processed, including the new surround sound formats Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro 3D.

Display Stream Compression (DSC) 1.2 and Forward Error Correction (FEC) DSC technology is a visually lossless compression method that is used for resolutions above 5120x2880 at 60Hz and compresses the streamed video data at a ratio of 3:1. Thus DisplayPort 1.4 is able to play back 8K / UHD-2 at 60 Hz with 10 Bit HDR (High Dynamic Range / high contrast image) or 12 Bit. The FEC ensures error-free transmission of the compressed DSC data.

High quality materials and triple shielding The shielded plugs with gold-plated contacts guarantee an optimal connection. The locking protection fitted to the plugs prevents the plugs from accidentally slipping out. The conductors of the cable consist of 99.99% oxygen-free copper (OFC/CU). In combination with the high-quality triple shielding, this enables loss-free signal transmission and higher breaking strength of the cable.
