This HDMI 4K extension regenerates the incoming HDMI signal by decoding and re-encoding it to a new standard HDMI signal, allowing it to expand the transmission range without any interference. A total transmission distance of up to 20 metres is possible, i.e. a maximum of 15 metres at the input side and 5 metres at the output.
