Combining eleven stator vanes with a specially developed seven-blade rotor, the NF-F12 focused Flow™ system achieves excellent static pressure and focuses airflow on heat sinks and radiators for superior performance. At the same time, a series of advanced aerodynamic optimization measures, the second-generation SSO bearing and Noctua's novel PWM IC for fully automatic control guarantee an impressive level of smoothness. Focused Flow™ Frame The is designed for pressure-sensitive applications such as air coolers or water cooling radiators and has eleven stator vanes that direct and focus the airflow straight. Thus, the NF-F12 achieves performance values that conventional fans only achieve at significantly higher speeds.

Varying angular distance and Vortex Control notches The NF-F12 stator guide blades are arranged with varying angular distance (varying angular distance) and have Vortex-Control notches. Both measures help to spread the noise emission over a wider frequency range, making the fan sound less disturbing to the human ear.

Heptaperf™ Impeller The seven-leaf used in the NF-F12 was specially developed to harmonize perfectly with the FocusedFlow™ frame and its eleven stator guide blades. The NF-F12 thus achieves the best possible balance between performance and smoothness.

SSO2 bearings The NF-F12 is the first fan to be equipped with the further optimized second generation of Noctua's proven SSO storage system. At SSO2, the rear magnet sits closer to the fan axis, resulting in even better stabilization, resulting in further improved precision and durability.

Metal Bearing Shell In order to guarantee the highest possible degree of manufacturing precision, minimum tolerances and excellent long-term stability, the NF-F12 uses a CNC machined bearing shell made of brass.

PWM IC WITH SCD The NF-F12 PWM supports fully automatic speed control via PWM and uses Noctua's new, specially designed NE-FD1 chip. This new PWM IC integrates Noctua's smooth commutation Drive (SCD) technology, which minimizes PWM switching noise and makes the fan even quieter at low speeds.

Very low power consumption The NF-F12 PWM consumes more than 50% less than many other fans in its speed class at 0.6W. This is not only environmentally friendly, but also reduces the power bill: Compared to a typical 2W fan, they can save about half the price of the NF-P12 for 5 years of continuous operation!

Low-Noise Adapter The NF-F12 PWM is supplied with a (L.N.A.) that reduces the maximum speed from 1500 to 1200rpm. This allows you to operate the fan at a constant 1200rpm or limit the maximum speed in PWM operation.

Comprehensive Connectivity Options While the 20cm short primary cable helps to avoid cable clutter in typical applications, the included 30cm extension provides extra range for all cases. Both cables are fully sheathed and a 4-pin Y-cable allows to control a second PWM fan on the same connector.
