This Intellinet Gigabit SFP Mini-GBIC transceiver provides RJ45 connectivity at up to 1000 Mbps in an SFP slot. This allows either a Fast Ethernet switch on one port to be upgraded to Gigabit speed or an additional 1000 Mbps port to be added to a Gigabit switch.

Hot-Pluggable This mini-GBIC is "hot-pluggable", i.e. it can be installed without having to restart the network switch. This does not interrupt traffic in your company.
