The IO-Link USB master is used for communication with IO-Link devices. It establishes the link between a PC with a USB interface and an IO-Link sensor. After installing the supplied FDT tools, it is convenient to configure and parametrise a connected IO-Link sensor. It is also possible to run sensor diagnostics. Sensors with low current consumption are supplied directly from the USB master. An additional external power supply is available for sensors with higher current consumption. This makes the device ideal for use for test purposes and for commissioning and service tasks.
