The EX-6100PoE Power Injector adds PoE power to one of the 4 Ethernet PoE ports so you can deliver power and data to your Ethernet devices in the field over a single Ethernet cable. Power-over-Ethernet functionality allows network administrators to install the EX-6100PoE up to 100 meters away from PoE devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras, and more. It supports the best location for devices located on a power pole outside or in the ceiling where there is no power outlet. The EX-6100PoE feeds 48~57V DC for PoE PDs. Due to its small size, the PoE solution is not only easy to use, but also easy to install in remote rooms. The EX-6100PoE then works as Power Source Equipment (PSE) for the Powered Device (PD). It gives the installer more flexibility in installation as the device no longer needs to be in the immediate vicinity of a power outlet. By using Power over Ethernet (PoE) according to IEEE 802.af, the EX-6100PoE eliminates the need for a nearby power outlet and provides a reliable and easy-to-use network solution.
