For many soldering tasks, an additional flux-powder in gel form is essential. Despite NO-CLEAN products, however, time after time the components need to be cleaned again after soldering. However, controlled cleaning of the solder joints is often no simple task. With the EDSYN flux-powder gel FL 22 YFL, a fluorescent dye ensure that residues become visible under UV lighting. This means that all users can easily check what the washed result looks like.

FL 22 YFL flux-powder gel is dispensed precisely onto the joints to be soldered via a spray with a plastic tip. The well-known effect where flux-powder quickly evaporates due to its alcohol content, does not happen immediately with flux-powder gel.

The flux composition corresponds to F - SW 32 (DIN EN 29454 / 1.2.3.A). The FL 22 YFL flux-powder is non-corrosive.

If cleaning is not wanted, this is not a problem either. Laboratory tests confirm that when dosing is done carefully, hardly any existing corrosion-free residues generally remain on the printed circuit board.
