WIKO MS polymer - BONDING AND SEALING is a 1-component, elastic, moisture-curing adhesive and sealant with an MS polymer base. WIKO MS polymer is used to bond different materials together and seal seams, overlaps. WIKO MS polymer - bonding and sealing is medium viscosity and soft elastic.

Conditions of use

On clean, grease-free and dust-free substrates (cleaning with WIKO plastic cleaner or WIKO metal cleaner), a good adhesion can be achieved on a wide variety of materials, coating systems, metals, glass, mirrors, ceramics and various plastics without primer. Please refer to our pretreatment table in the WIKO catalogue, which will give you an indication of possible pretreatment options. Due to the variety of different substrates, for the time being, adhesion values should be determined by an experiment. Apply the material using an appropriate dosing aid and process with the mating material within the skin-forming time. The application thickness should be adjusted according to the expected maximum forces and joint movements. Fixing the composite until it is cured is recommended. The curing depends on layer thickness, temperature and humidity. Any work material that is inadvertently contaminated with MS polymer should be cleaned immediately after use with WIKO plastic cleaner (product no. AKSR.D500) or WIKO metal cleaner (product no. AMTR.D500).
