Due to its innovative concept, the IDENTControl Compact RFID identification system from Pepperl+Fuchs offers many advantages over other systems. The heart of the system is the IDENTControl and IDENTControl Compact evaluation units.

With integrated interfaces to all common fieldbus systems such as PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Ethernet, EtherCAT, CC-Link, Serial connections (RS 232 or RS 485) and numerous connection options for read/write heads, which are available for the frequency ranges LF, HF and UHF, you can adapt the IDENTControl Compact evaluation unit flexibly and easily to your requirements. LEDs on the front of the housing indicate bus communication, connected read/write heads and active read/write commands.

The use of trigger sensors can further increase the reliability of the application. The system is suitable for use in the control cabinet as well as for an IP67 field application. The interface to the higher-level fieldbus is integrated in the housing and all connections are plug-in. This enables easy installation and, in the event of a fault, quick, error-free device replacement. The integrated EMC concept with metal housing, grounding routing and shielded cables offers a high level of interference immunity.
