Customer-specific manufacturing requirements can be met very flexibly. Adding a thermocouple, additional attachments, individual power distribution and moisture protection class IP 67 are just a few examples. One of the current technology highlights is the 1,000-degree high-temperature heating cartridge. It is increasingly being used in fuel cell construction, battery technology, aviation, factory automation and foundries. The other is the 1/8" (3.4mm) hotrod cartridge heater, which, with a diameter the size of a match head, is currently one of the smallest electric cartridge heaters on the world market. It was developed for installation in compact devices for the targeted temperature control of the smallest quantities of adhesives, lubricants or inks.

The heated length must have continuous contact with the temperature sink. Misapplication sometimes causes severe damage.
