Protection cover made of sheet steel for DL 18/1 and DL 18/2 with two pre-punched holes that can be pierced to pass cables through. Four pre-assembled screws can accommodate strain relief mountings and cable clamps. The larger volume significantly improves the sound of the built-in loudspeakers. The protection cover prevents the chimney effect in the event of a fire, stopping the fire from spreading. It is not suitable for use in fire-resistant ceilings (e.g. F 30 ceiling).
