Air Motion transformers are a special type of tweeter system developed by German physicist Oskar Heil while researching the characteristics of human hearing. The main characteristic is the special folds in the membrane foil and their accordion-like oscillation with the sound signal applied. Thanks to these folds, a very large membrane surface can be accommodated in the smallest space. AMTs are characterised by a very dynamic sound pattern, excellent pulse behaviour, high efficiency and low harmonic distortion.
