AT89LP214-20XU 8-bit MCS-8051 microcontroller, 2 KB, 20 MHz, TSSOP-14

High-performance CMOS 8-bit microcontroller with low power consumption and 2 KB ISP flash memory. The device uses Microchip's high-density non-volatile memory technology and is compatible with the industry-standard MCS-51 instruction set. An improved CPU core can fetch a single byte from memory in each clock cycle and achieves a throughput of 20 MIPS. The new CPU core runs at a much lower speed, which significantly reduces power consumption.

Two new modes have been added to the two timer/counters in the AT89LP213/214. Mode 0 can be configured as a variable 9- to 16-bit timer/counter and mode 1 as a 16-bit timer/counter with automatic reload. In addition, the timer/counters of the AT89LP213 can independently drive a pulse width modulation output.
