EL2200 optocoupler, 5kV, 5MBd, DIP-8

The EL220X consists of an infrared emitting diode optically coupled to an integrated high-speed photodetector logic gate. It is housed in an 8-pin DIP package and is available in SMD options. The detector of the EL2200 has a three-stage output stage and features a detector threshold with hysteresis. The three-state output eliminates the need for a pull-up resistor and allows direct control of data buses. The hysteresis provides immunity against differential noise and prevents possible fluttering of the output signal.
