LAN9692

The LAN9692 is a 66G TSN Multi-Gigabit Ethernet Switch providing a rich set of Automotive switching features and port configurations (up to 30 ports) from 10Mbps to 10Gbps, ideal for In-Vehicle Networking (IVN) applications such as Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS), Zonal ECU connectivity, High Performance Compute and Gateways.

The LAN969x family is hardware and software compatible and scalable supporting 46Gbps (LAN9691), 66Gbps (LAN9692) and 102Gbps (LAN9693) switch bandwidths.

Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) is supported through a comprehensive set of features including frame preemption, cut-through, frame replication and elimination for reliability, enhanced scheduling (time aware shaping, cyclic queuing, and forwarding), and per-stream policing and filtering. Together with timing support for IEEE® 1588 and IEEE 802.1AS to guarantee low-latency deterministic networking.

The LAN969x family features a highly flexible set of Ethernet ports with support for RGMII, SGMII, QSGMII, USGMII, and USXGMII. It integrates a powerful 1GHz single-core ARM® Cortex®-A53 CPU enabling full management of the switch and advanced Automotive applications.

The LAN969x family targets secure and safety critical applications where high port count 10M/100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G switching links are required. Security is provided through TCAM-based frame processing using a versatile content aware processor (VCAP), ARM Trusted Firmware methodology for fast secure boot, crypto-libraries and hardware security accelerators for boot and code encryption, and One Time Programmable immutable key storage.

A turnkey software solution is provided with VelocityDRIVE SP and Configuration Tool VelocityDRIVE CT.
