C R Clarke Triform 180 Hot Wire Cutter & Sculptor

The Triform 180 from C R Clarke is a 3-in-1 machine that cuts and sculpts expanded thermoplastic material as well as bending thermoplastic sheet up to 6mm thick.

Separate heating wires are used for line bending and sculpting, optimising performance in both modes. A toroidal transformer provides safe low voltage power to the heating wires.

The local line bending feature uses a guarded hot wire for safety. A calibrated work table provides easy setting of the bend position.

In hot wire sculpting mode the operator can tilt the wire bow to cut at 90°, 67.5°, 60° and 45°. A pneumatic foot switch energises the hot wire or sculptor tool only while cutting. This results in safer operation and reduces fume emissions during cutting to a minimum.
