Proto Shield Rev3 (Uno Size)

The ProtoShield is designed to simplify custom circuit creation for your Arduino projects. Its prototyping area supports both through-hole (TH) and surface-mount (SMD) components, allowing you to easily solder ICs and test your circuit designs. The SMD area accommodates up to a 24-pin SOIC integrated circuit, while the spacious TH area provides ample room for additional components needed for your setup. You can also attach a mini breadboard (not included) to the proto area for solderless prototyping.

Key features include power lines for IOREF and GND, two LED and resistor pads, and SPI signal breakout pads, making it ideal for boards like the Arduino Zero, where SPI is available only on the ICSP header. The ProtoShield offers compatibility with the 1.0 Arduino pinout, an ICSP connector footprint, 24-pin SMD support (50 mils pitch), and convenient access to essential signals, enabling efficient and flexible prototyping for both beginners and advanced users.
