The Arduino Pro Mini 328 - 3.3V/8MHz is a sleek, blue, thin design by SparkFun, focusing on minimalism without compromising functionality. This 3.3V Arduino operates with an 8MHz bootloader. It doesn't come with pre-populated connectors, giving you the flexibility to solder in any connector or wire in any orientation. This is a product designed for those who are familiar with the limitations of system voltage (3.3V), the absence of connectors, and off-board USB.The Arduino Pro Mini is a cost-effective solution, achieved by using all SMD components and a two-layer design. It connects directly to the FTDI Basic Breakout board and supports auto-reset. You can also use it with the FTDI cable, but keep in mind that the DTR pin is not brought out, so the auto-reset feature won't work. The board has a voltage regulator, allowing it to accept voltage up to 12VDC. If you're supplying unregulated power to the board, always connect to the "RAW" pin, not VCC.The latest iteration of this board offers ADC6 and ADC7 pins, as well as footprints for optional I2C pull-up resistors!
