SparkFun Qwiic PIR - 1uA (EKMB1107112)

The SparkFun EKMB1107112 Qwiic PIR is a highly effective Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor that excels in detecting motion within a small area. It utilizes an EKM-series PIR sensor from Panasonic® and an ATTiny84 for I2C interaction with the Qwiic system. It includes a lens for creating various detection zones, an optical filter to block non-infrared light, pyroelectric sensing elements, electromagnetic shielding for all circuitry, and an impedance converter to get an electrical signal. It provides a digital output across 32 zones with a detection distance of 5m and a 90° x 90° detection area.Note that the sensitivity of passive infrared sensors is influenced by environmental conditions.
