SparkFun Air Velocity Sensor Qwiic Kit - FS3000-1015

The SparkFun Air Velocity Sensor Qwiic Kit - FS3000-1015 is a comprehensive kit that provides all the necessary tools to monitor airflow in various settings, such as data centers, around servers, or HVAC and air control systems. It is built around the FS3000-1015, a surface-mount air velocity module from Renesas, with a range of 0-15m/s. The kit includes a SparkFun RedBoard Artemis Nano, a flexible Qwiic Cable - 100mm, and a reversible USB-A to C cable. The FS3000-1015 is a MEMS thermopile-based sensor that offers a digital output with 12-bit resolution. It also incorporates solid thermal isolation technology and a silicon carbide coating for protection against abrasive wear and water condensation. This sensor is capable of measuring air velocity twice as much as its predecessor, the FS3000-1005.The SparkFun Air Velocity Sensor Qwiic Kit - FS3000-1015 is designed to be user-friendly. With the help of an Arduino library, users can start working with the kit quickly. This library can be downloaded through the Arduino library manager by searching 'SparkFun Air Velocity'.The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables that simplifies prototyping and reduces the likelihood of errors. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector. This system minimizes the required PCB space, and its polarized connections prevent incorrect hookups.The kit includes the following items:
