The Oak-D LITE is the compact and cost-effective version of the Oak-D, designed by Sparkfun. Despite being smaller in size and more affordable, the Oak-D LITE does not compromise on functionality, earning it the title of the 'Swiss Army knife' of computer vision. The primary distinctions between the Oak-D and the Oak-D LITE are the lower resolution mono-cameras, the absence of an IMU on board, and the lack of a power adapter. In most applications, the USB Type C port should provide sufficient power for the Oak-D LITE, with a Y-adapter available from Luxonis for situations that require additional power.The Oak-D LITE, like the rest of the Oak series from Sparkfun, is compatible with OAK.
