The SecuFirm2™ mounting upgrade kit NM-i17xx-MP83 allows Noctua CPU coolers with 83-mm mounting pitch to be retrofitted to Intel's LGA1700 platform (LGA17xx family). In true SecuFirm2™ fashion, the NM-i17xx-MP83 combines outstanding reliability, optimum contact pressure and easy installation, so that Noctua coolers can be reused on Intel's latest Core processors.

Note: This mounting upgrade kit allows Noctua coolers to be mounted on LGA1700 (LGA17xx family) hardware originally designed for other sockets according to their specifications. Since the height specifications of the LGA17xx are different from other sockets, it is essential to ensure that your cooler and your LGA17xx motherboard are fully compatible before installation.
