CM4040 Universal 4-channel alarm device, GSM

The Mobeye CM-Guard-40 is a flexible 4G LTE-M/2G alarm detector for monitoring technical installations in indoor and outdoor areas (IP66 outdoor housing accessory). In the event of an alarm situation, the built-in communication module will send a message to the preset telephone numbers. It has four potential-free inputs that can be easily configured as NC (normally closed) or NO (normally open). Each potential-free contact can be used as a sensor.

The CM-Guard-40 will operate fully, in normal use, on batteries for 1 year or with an external power supply and batteries as backup. If an external regulated 12-24V DC voltage or power supply is used, the module will also send power failure messages.

The Mobeye CM4040 has numerous setting options, e.g. a selection of messages via push message/call/SMS/email, automatic switch-on and switch-off times, individual alarm texts per input, alarm delays and test reports. In addition, the CM-Guard-40 is prepared for the transmission of alarm signals via the SIA DC-09 protocol to private 24/7 control panels. For outdoor use, the manufacturer offers the CM4040 in an IP66 housing as a special order.

The device is used by security companies as an alarm detector for a monitoring system, by industrial companies as a monitor for machine faults or pump protection, by system integrators as an alarm module for sensors or AED cabinets and by organizations that want to know if a door or a box is opened. In other words, wherever the monitoring of normally open or normally closed contacts is required.

The Mobeye SIM card, which can be activated online, offers the Sim/Portal/App service with full functionality and optimum security. The device then operates on the highly reliable 4G LTE-M network with 2G as a fallback and always selects the strongest provider. The portal provides online insights, simplifies programming and performs automatic communication checks. The Mobeye CM4040 SIM card costs 60.00 euros per year (plus VAT).

When using its own SIM card, the device works with 2G; with an LTE-M SIM card and the correct APN data, it also works on 4G. Operation is "standalone", without using the Mobeye portal and app. Alarm notifications are sent via SMS to (max.) 5 contacts. Programming is done via SMS commands.
