To meet the special requirements when machining stainless steel (INOX), PFERD TOOLS uses wire quality 1.4310 (V2A) for all INOX brushes. Practical experience gained from the industrial environment confirms that it offers very good corrosion resistance with an optimal service life. All PFERD TOOLS brushes with INOX filament are marked blue and suitable for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as V4A. The wire quality 1.4310 tends to become ferromagnetic during cold hardening, meaning it is attracted to magnets. This is caused by a structural change caused by deformation, e.g. during wire drawing. This does not affect the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX filament. It retains its corrosion-resistant properties. Stainless steel wire (INOX) withstands temperatures up to 450°C.
