221 - This is how you connect today! With the 221 Series connection terminal block, WAGO enables tool-free wiring for all conductor types. Clear handling and space-saving design make every application child's play.

Simple, fast and safe handling The connection terminals are particularly quick and easy to open. Thanks to the specially designed operating levers, only minimal force is required to open the 221. The connection is made completely without tools. In addition, the recessed grips on the sides prevent slipping and ensure that the clamp is easy to hold while connecting the conductor.

Safe: Two test openings The 221 series connection terminals have two test openings: One from the conductor connection direction and one on the opposite side. The test openings guarantee convenient test conditions even when installed in a wide variety of installation environments. In addition, their design ensures good contacting of all common test probes. The highly transparent housing also supports error-free connection

For all conductor types With the small connecting terminal up to 4 mm2 , all conductor types with different cross-sections can be clamped quickly and easily. The 2-, 3- and 5-conductor terminals connect fine-stranded conductors from 0.14 to 4 mm2 as well as solid and stranded conductors from 0.2 to 4 mm2. The large connection range allows you to connect different conductor types and bridge large differences in cross-section.

Now also in the switch cabinet The new mounting adapters are available for all 221 series terminal blocks (2, 3 and 5 conductors) and can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. Simply attach the adapter by snapping it onto the mounting rail or using screws on smooth surfaces. The flexible fixing claws allow you to easily insert and release the terminals. Thanks to its practical design, the new adapter is just as easy to use as the 221 itself. You can connect and disconnect conductors both before and after fixing the terminal in the adapter. The design also ensures that a test opening is always accessible. It therefore also complies with the applicable VDE standards. The adapter also offers you space for individual labeling.
