The A 1732 DC EVSE adapter is a special tool for checking the electrical safety and functionality of charging infrastructures for electric vehicles in mode 4 (DC EVSE) and mode 3 (AC EVSE). It supports a wide range of connector types, including CCS2, CHAdeMO and Type 2 vehicle connections, making it extremely versatile. In combination with the MI 3155, the A 1732 adapter enables the initiation of communication protocols such as ISO 15118, DIN SPEC 70121, CHAdeMO and low-level PWM. In addition, it can simulate faults in the control pilot (CP) signal and in the protective earth (PE) connections to evaluate the reaction of the charging equipment (EVSE).
