FS27 Safety SBC 48 V FLYBACK Evaluation Board

The KITFS27-48VEVM provides easy customer configuration of the FS2700 device family. The evaluation KIT offers full

flexibility to utilize all the features of the device on both main and safety domains. All regulators are

accessible

through connectors. Non-user signals, such as DC/DC switcher node, are mapped on test points. It targets 48 V

automotive

applications. The KL25Z FRDM connected to the board, combined with the FS27 NXP

graphical user interface (GUI) software, allows to fully configure and control

FS27 system basis chip (SBC). The board can be used in a standalone mode and controlled with a USB interface. This board is populated with a FS27 family superset part for device evaluation. The part soldered on the board can be

programmed— one-time programmable (OTP)—three times, and it is possible to test as many configurations as needed in

emulation mode before and after programming. No extra tools or boards are needed for device programming.
