Adafruit VEML6070 UV Index Sensor Breakout

This compact UV light sensor effortlessly integrates into any microcontroller project, providing precise UV A light readings with its true UV A light sensor, the VEML6070 from Vishay. Its I2C-controlled ADC efficiently manages readings, with integration times from approximately 60ms to 500ms.While lacking UV Index approximations, the sensor offers genuine UV spectrum sensing, unlike other sensors like the Si1145, which rely on light level approximations. Its simple I2C interface ensures compatibility with even the smallest microcontrollers without the need for additional ADC.Operating efficiently on 3 or 5V power or logic, this sensor's internal biasing and ADC eliminate the need for external ADC, unlike the GUVA analog sensor.
