The Adafruit STEMMA Speaker is a versatile plug and play audio amplifier, featuring a built-in class D amplifier and a compact 1 Watt 8 ohm speaker. It is effortlessly powered by simply connecting ground, 3 to 5V power, and an audio signal.Bypassing the need for AC coupling, the audio signal can seamlessly range up to the power voltage. This compact device supports both the 3-pin JST socket and alligator/sew-pads, offering flexibility in connectivity.The sound quality ensures clear audio for music, tones, or speech, with easily adjustable volume using a small screwdriver. The speaker pairs well with a CircuitPlayground or micro:bit using a JST to alligator-clip cable. For breadboard use, a JST to male/plug-header is ideal.
