What’s better than our tri-colour E-Paper displays? Quad-colour, of course! This 2.13" 250×122 quad-colour eInk/ePaper display gives you red, black, yellow and white—great for low-power projects that need a bit more visual punch. If you’ve used an e-reader like a Kindle or Nook, you already know what makes ePaper special: the image stays on screen even with the power removed, it’s sharp and high-contrast, and it’s easy to read outdoors. It really does look like printed paper. Just a heads-up: this is the bare display panel. You’ll need a board with a standard 24-pin FPC ePaper connector. Here are some good matching options:

* Feather RP2040 ThinkInk – solder-free, plug-and-play, works with Arduino and CircuitPython (the easiest option, and the one used in the demo).

* eInk Feather Friend – FeatherWing add-on for any Feather board.

* eInk Breakout Friend – breadboard-friendly adapter with level shifting and the required components.

* 24-pin eInk Extension Cable + 24-pin FPC adapter – useful if you need to position the display further away.

The panel uses the JD79661 chipset, so make sure your firmware supports it. The Arduino library already includes support and works just like any AdafruitGFX display, making it simple to draw text and graphics. One last thing: you can’t mix colours on a pixel.
