Dual-tower construction with 6 heat pipes Compared to conventional single-tower coolers, the NH-D15's consistently optimized dual-tower design offers more cooling surface, better heat distribution and superior airflow efficiency in double-fan operation.

Widened cooling fins and extended heatpipe arrangement Compared to the NH-D14, the width of the cooling fins has been extended from 140 to 150mm and the distance between the heat pipes has been increased. The improved heat distribution achieved by these measures over a larger surface area contributes significantly to the superior efficiency of the NH-D15.

Excellent RAM compatibility in single-fan operation Thanks to the retracted lower cooling fins, the NH-D15 offers 62mm space for high memory modules in single-fan operation - most current high-end modules can thus be used without any problems. In dual-fan operation, the NH-D15 should be used with standard-height RAM (up to 32mm).*

NF-A15 140mm dual fan The NH-D15 is supplied with two NF-A15 140mm premium fans designed according to Noctua's AAO standard. With advanced aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels, the NF-A15 has quickly established itself as one of the best 140mm fans on the market.

PWM support and low-noise adapter The NF-A15 140mm fans of the NH-D15 support PWM for convenient, fully automatic speed control via the mainboard. In addition, the included low-noise adapters can reduce the maximum speed from 1500 to 1200rpm to allow even quieter operation.

Compatibility with older and future sockets The NH-D15 complies with the open SecuFirm™ standard and can be made compatible with the optional NM-I3 mounting kit available free of charge from Noctua to the older sockets LGA1366 and LGA775. As far as technically possible, Noctua will also offer upgrade sets for future sockets.
