The digital input terminal records control signals from the field range, e.g. via sensors. The terminal has four input channels and enables four sensors to be connected directly using 2-conductor technology, as it is equipped with four 24-V connections. A filter is connected upstream of each input for suppressing interference, in which various time constants have been integrated. Field and system levels are galvanically isolated.
